“Rooms are small, bathroom even smaller. Bed was very comfortable. Very few plugs available for charging devices. They took nice care of us and we enjoyed our stay in Grenoble.”

“This hotel is situated in the city center near tram station. Very old hotel which has preserved the antique look well. The breakfast has good variety of selection. Staff is soo friendly specifically the receptionist. Rooms are cleaned and tidy. This hotel is closer to all the main tourist places in grenoble. Overall good experience with the hotel.”

“We are really amazed by the way the team of Hotel d’Angleterre was treating us: polite, friendly, attentive, helpful and we could continue with so many other positive attributes. They are great. The hotel’s location is absolutely in the center of Grenoble. From most of the rooms you have a great view overlooking Square Victor Hugo and the edges of the Alps. The rooms are a bit retro, but super tidy and comfortable. And the breakfast buffet is above all expectations and could compete with some 5star hotels offering. Great value for money and we will return more often.”

“Rooms on a good size, everything was very clean, sheets almost new and bed very comfortable, AC worked perfectly. Bathroom a bit small but worked perfectly, comfortable. Perfectly located, very close to a parking at a very reasonable price (the hotel has discount there). Breakfast is a must take here, lots of local marmalades and also local honey, excellent breads, variety of very good quality cheese and charcuterie as well as variety of fruits and yogurts. Price is perfect for both the hotel and breakfast. Service and reception by Florencia was excellent! She solved a mistake on our side on the reservation and also recommended Minimistan Bar, and local restaurant Chez Marius that we really enjoyed, young local people, really good time. Strongly recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Grenoble.”
